Graduation time is right around the corner. Don't forget to book your hair and makeup services with Edmonton Makeup Artists!
We have been seeing this hair style a lot lately! It is very simple, yet super sophisticated, and looks stunning! It consists of a low pony tail, braids, or both. You can customize it the way you want. All of our hair stylists are fantastic at braids, so we are certain you will be more than pleased with this style!
Did you know that we offer private makeup lessons? We do tons of one-on-ones with women (and men!) who want to learn to do their own makeup.
Another EXTREMELY popular service we offer is group lessons. This season, we have several bachelorette parties booking us for group lessons. Our artist will let you know prior what makeup to have on hand, will come to your location, will work with what you have, and show you how to do the perfect look for your face. Even though it is a group lesson, the artist will work one-on-one with everyone at the party to ensure that you're learning the best technique for your face shape. Our artists are knowledgeable in makeup for different styles, skin tones, ethnicities, ages, genders, and skin conditions. We provide a fun, and judgement free learning environment.
Prices for lessons are $85/hour for 1 person, $125/hour for 2 people, $160/hour for 3+ people.
Interested in a hair lesson? We do that too! Prices the same as makeup lessons.
At Edmonton Makeup Artists, we offer you a touch up kit for your wedding (or any event). This bag comes with:
a sample of your foundation (for any under eye touchups), a translucent powder (great for any skin tone, and perfect ridding shine), a full sized high-end lipstick (matched from your trial), a powder brush, lipstick brush, and a cute bag...only $50!! Saves you time & money!!
I am absolutely in love with purple eye shadow! It looks beautiful on every eye color! Purple is becoming more and more popular with brides because it really makes the eyes pop. If bright royal purple isn't your thing, try plum or lilac shades.
I keep hearing people say that they wish they could wear a certain color of eye shadow, but can't because that is their eye color. I am here to tell you that I think that rule is silly! I wear green eye shadow all the time and I have green eyes. I will often pair grey eyes with grey shadow, brown eyes with brown shadow, and yes, even blue eyes with blue shadow. But why stop there?! I am a firm believer in the notion that you can wear ANY color you want! So go crazy, pair any color shadow with any color eye. My only advice is blend, blend, blend!
